Art making can be an important theraputic way for individuals to heal and cope with adversity. The new show in the gallery features theraputic creations by a local “folk artist”, Wesley Dunkelberg. Wes has struggled with serious mental illness since sudden onset in his senior year in high school. He has found that creative art has helped him in dealing with this illness.

We welcomed Wes at a “Meet & Greet” on Sunday, March 18, 2018 in the Gallery between worship services. This was a great opportunity to meet the artist and discuss his work!
